That's hilarious....

But I hope you're not waiting for the knock on the door. You know the house was gone to some midwest folks a few weeks ago right? The "surprise" ambush is not quite what they make it out to be.

They're interesting looking animals! Saw one on a hike awhile back in VT. I posted a TR.

There was a porquipine living in a pine tree over Fox's Folly at Burke last week... huge one too. Would suck if that thing dropped down.

I now know it..LOL.....guess as far as checking everything, daily/weekly out = plead guilty to living under a rock...:). Don't know how anyone would think of some of the great place being a ski dorm though..;-)

There was a huge owl (Great Grey Owl maybe) sitting at the top of the Polar express at Wachusett in the trees just watching the skiers. Some kids were throwing snowballs at it until ski patrol chased them away. Didn't seem to bother it and it hung out for a couple hours.

Several years ago deer fell off the cliff over Minya Konka at Hunter and onto the trail. (That was ugly - they had to close the trail and put her out of her misery)

Another Burke legend/fact is that Toll Road was renamed "Deer Run" after a student from my Mom's school got run into by a young deer trying to cross Toll Road. The kid, and deer, were both shaken up but not hurt!
