Just talking on map, non-gladed runs here. Care to list Killington equivalents for each of these?

  • Twist
  • Moonshine
  • Mall
  • Domino
  • Spillsville
  • Paradise
  • Castlerock Run
  • Liftline
  • Rumble
  • Middle Earth
  • Morning Star
Maybe somebody else can compile the list for Mount Ellen since I only listed runs from Lincoln Peak here...

I'm not going to list any runs, but Killington's terrain does rival that of sugarbush, but is not exactly the same. There are several trails unique to Killington that sugarbush certainly doesn't have anything like.

List some so I know where to look when I'm up there next. I'm not saying I don't like Killington, but from what I've seen there aren't anywhere near as many natural narrowish runs which is what I prefer.

Did you just defend Killington?

I'd rather people stayed off them, so I'm not going to list them....lol.

Nevermind, Sugarbush is much better, just go there.

Please. I'm not suggesting off map stashes. Just looking for a list of the trails that are on par with the stuff I listed at Lincoln Peak. In fact, I started [thread="15619"]a thread[/thread] last year asking a similar thing. I got some good suggestions like Roundabout, Royal Flush, Racer's Edge, Needle's Eye liftline, Escapade, Powerline, Heavenly Traverse, Flume, Vertigo, Northstar, Vagabond, Jug, Jug Handle, Cat Walk. See? That wasn't hard.

I've since skied a bunch of those with Royal Flush, Needles liftline, Escapade, Flume, Heavenly Traverse, Vertigo, Northstar and Catwalk being my favorites. All are excellent trails and totally fit my definition of fun. I really like the trees I've skied on Snowdon too and I hope to hit up Killington a few more times this season.

With an AWD car equipped with snow tires to handle the Roxbury Gap road, Sugarbush is only an extra 25 minutes from Boston. If you're in a 2WD car with stock tires, it's an extra hour.

I drive from Boston and either take Exit 4/5 12a to Roxbury Gap road as well as Exit 9 routes and the difference is only 15-20 minutes

how dare you mock him. He's a kzone killington klubhouse killer. you should be HONORED that he took the time to troll post in this thread. Killington is not to be trifled with. nor is it to be mocked, shamed, prodded or generally ridiculed.

I actually like killington. but these guys are waaaaay too much.
