Looking sharp! Very little doubt now that they'll have this thing wrapped up in time...

The warmth is definitely helping with their comfort level, but the beginning of the season is over at North, anyway. :spread:

They're still full speed ahead on the 9th for the opening of South... and the new, very very improved Gatehouse.

Claybrook and the new Timbers Restaurant are to open on the 15th, and, again, they are full speed ahead.

It will be an interesting season!

It's been more than two years since I've been up there. Thanks all for the updates. I love those aerials and folliage views of the area as I lived on German Flats Rd for a whole year once and worked the course.

I was there in April (one of the last ski days) and the construction was going on,,,looks fantastic, the wife is ready to book a long weekend.....i really fell for SB, classic New England resort....great staff (quick story) Got to the mountain that Sunday morning around 730...the 2 ladies selling tix were great, we chatted awhile, everything was in disarray as they were moving out of that building and most things were in boxes...i went to go click into my skis and realized i forgot to scrape the hot wax off my bases...so i went back in and the ladies radioed MTN OPS looking for a scraper...10 min later a gentleman arrived with 2 scrapers, he grabed one ski and started scraping MY ski!!!! I was beside my self impressed, i dug into my pockets and grabed a $20 to tip him....he'd have no part of it, i think he was the manager of mtn ops (too bad i forgot his name) i insisted, but he'd declined again and said Thank you....no THANK YOU!!!! Great terrain, great vibe, great people, no big box commericilazation...love it, keep up the good work, we'll see you shortly!!
