Sugaloaf April 8,9,10 Reggae weekend

Temps. 50's to low 60's in the afternoon, 30's and 40's am
Sunny and plenty of Sun Burn.

Snow firm 1st thing held up till late morning on lower half held up till mid aftennon upper parts.

Lets say the gang all got together. Met Greg and Joe Friday late morning worked the Spillway chair. Greg convinced me Misery Whip would be a good idea. I had fun good snow, very narrow a real challenge. Watching Joe launch into the trail is imprinted on my mind.We moved over to Bullwinkles at 1 for the pre assigned meeting. Terry and his Bride, Charlie and Jay joined us and we headed out. Went over to King Pine and had some good runs. Allskiing and his bud Terry joined us for the rest of the day. The snow held up, but did get a little soft. I skied until 4.15 with a bit of peer pressure. Joined Terry and All skiing and Greg for apre ski. Terry and Allskiing and I did a little overtime. Great just talking skiing.

Sat hit the slopes at 8.30 right off, but I was unprepared I went over th Bucksaw the lift was not running I had to walk back to the Super Quad. Wind was going pretty good. After a run on Narrow Gauge I headed back over to Spill Way again. I just had a blast soft snow, just played around. I spent all day back and for with Greg and Allskiing trying to get them on the phone lines were all busy. We went back over to King Pine and all hooked up. We were all buds by know. I quit about 3.30 my legs were tired. Went to catch the tunes. Did I mention it was Reggae. Hung out on the beach caught tunes had fun. Most did also. Met the Gang after dinner. I ate at Jepetto's excellent food. I also met Tim Kelly NECN weather guy. He was very cordial and talked to me for a while. He was glad that skiers notice he cares about us. Met the gang later at the bag for a little bit then we all called it a night.

Sunday got out a 8.30 again went right over to White Nito followed but Upper Gondola line. The snow was unreal. I was at my peak. smiles galore. White Nitro was not open the previous 2 days and Gondi line open later never got a run on them. I finished off with a few runs on spillway. My sun Burn was killing me and my legs were dead. I headed down to the beach to catch a few tunes and grab a bite. I left early, but the gang still raged on after I left. Great time. A_Z is really to getting it together nice group to hang with.

Glad I wasn't the only one suffering from those two ailments... although you got in more skiing than I did before my legs were done... ;)

I loaded up on Sun Blok, to no avail. Legs it was alot of work. I have not been staying in as good of shape either. Still got a limp.

I forgot the sun screen altogether on Sat. Was definitely hard work on the legs, it didn't help that I hadn't skied in 2 weeks and am definitely not in the best of shape. :(

A trip to loon and I missed it. I'm glad you guys had fun. The picture of the camp 3 deck looked good enough for me to grab a chair. In the Spring conditions I like Blue ox on the bottom to the right.. the shade helps the snow stay in decent shape. Angel Street and Walking Boss usually do well also. Hope then were fun to turn on.

It was a fine day. Luckily the line to get on the gondola wasn't bad so I was able to rest my legs on the ride up the gondola instead of hanging off a chair ;) I don't remember the trail names too good, but I do remember skiing "Walking Boss" with "thetrailboss" a couple of times and having fun! :D
