LOL, does your wife want you to go somewhere tropical for vacation?

Yes, I am not a beach person. A conversation came up with friends that just got back from Barbados about an April vacation. I then chimed in and said but there is still skiing. Of course this meant that I did not want to go on vacation with her. Sometimes is better to be quiet. That is why I missed Sunday!!!!

A year or two ago I would have voted for winter easily, but now that I've found a passion during the warmer months too it's a toss up for me.

Kind of the same boat, although I still do look forward to skiing and winter much more than mountain biking. Still, MTB in the summer has made the ski jones almost non-existent so I'm overall in a better mood and can appreciate all the other things in the summer. Love hitting the beach with the kids, outdoor parties, etc. Would like to get back into serious backpacking eventually if I can find time. Weather extremes don't really phase me all that much. Sometimes I love the feel of a 90+ humid day after working in A/C all day. Winter weather is easy to handle if you dress for it.

All seasons are good. Life's too short to pick just one.

hard, very hard

Winter: sledding, ice skating, skiing, snow, love it all...even the shoveling!
Summer: surfing, sailing, waterskiing, beach, gas powered blender on the beach for margi's and pina's, beach bonfires, long days, flip flops and shorts and bikinis!

Love summer and winter equally as much..as soon as I get sick of one season, its on to the next...

I like summer a bit more, but I much prefer the cold to the hot. You can always put on more layers, but you can only get so naked.

like Geoff, I would prefer spring, skiing with no crowds excellent conditions, not bugs and day light. Weekend rides home are great. Great views and no cars.

Summer, bugs, humidity, too much work. Just don't like summer. I like fall as well.

Winter over summer always. I take at least 3 weeks off in the winter, maybe a couple of days for a music festival in the summer.

Fall may be my favorite season; you can still golf and fish at the beginning to the middle, and in a lot of years you get to ski at the end (doesn't fall officially end in late December?). Plus its the best sport's watching time of the year, college football, hockey starts, baseball playoffs, nfl, and nba starts. Plus, foliage, hiking, comfortable to exercise (cardio) outside, and my fave seasonal beers.

But I hate summer. Give me the blustery cold over the blistering hot any day. Fishing is slow, its nasty to exercise outside, its buggy when you golf, hot car seats, yuck...I need to move north.
