heading up to the MRV Saturday afternoon..where to ski sunday???

1st choice is MRG (how is it holding up?)

if MRG is a no go due to condtions, we're thinking Stowe, then SB (as we've skiied there the past 3 years) anywhere else close to the MRV thats holding up well?

According to a fellow on the lift at Smuggs on Sunday, MRG had gotten battered pretty badly. Smuggs was in desperate need of snow. I doubt you see any of their 'front five' open back up this season.

Stowe was in phenomenal shape on Friday.

Skied Sugarbush Saturday & Sunday this past weekend. It was really warm and rained pretty hard most of Sat night. Amazing how fast the snow they had gotten is fading. There is plenty of brown showing on the lower half.

wouldnt mind hitting Stowe...we'll be staying at the Slidebrook up at MRG, but if condtions arent good and alot is closed , might as well head over to Stowe...the front 4 open???

Starr and Goat were closed from the top. Liftline and National were full on and had great coverage. Lower Goat had great coverage. ....but that was Friday and doesn't account for a warm day on Saturday and torrential down pours Saturday evening. I blew off Sunday at MRG because of how much it rained Saturday night.

It's honestly a bit of a sad scene though. For the amount of snow that area has received this winter, I've never seen base depths in the woods at the lower elevations so low this early in March. Been a vicious freeze thaw cycle unfortunately.
