AFAIK, this is still ago, I guess sometime in March. I wanted to start a thread to try to determine how many potential entrants from AZ we might have. Obviously, it's hard to commit without a date, but please respond to this poll with the assumption you will be available on the day it's held. If we can demonstrate a lot of interest from AZ alone, we have a better chance of getting it added to the events line-up.

Maybe. It all depends on how my bump skills progress over the next month or so.

If not, I would def. show up and lend my support.

I wish I wasn't so far away, I love bump comps.

Just get in anyway. You'll be a better bumper for it. It's a great experience. Don't worry, not everyone who enters these master comps is a great mogul skier.

It's a great day before, during and after the comp.

This is why I'm doing it. I don't actually plan to place very well, but it will give me a goal to work towards.

So do you have the mogul comp in the back of your mind every time you launch yourself off a kicker?

I'm not even sure if I'll finish the course, but it should be fun anyway. I gotta work on not being such a chicken sh!t when it comes to getting air, so I can hopefully pull off some lame spread or something on the kickers... ;)

I've been hitting a few kickers this year, which I normally wouldn't do, and that's exactly why... 8)

I might come and embarass myself if there is an over 50 category. Or, I could come and video tape the whole thing and embarass everyone.

Some do, some don't. At Gore they do 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60+ if necessary. At WF they have a kids division and a masters division and thats it. You can ask them for a seperate division (we have a Mt. Host Division for bragging rights).

Gores is more structured WF's is much less formal. Truth be told Gore's is better. Probably the only time I'll get down to Gore this season is for their mogul comp.

I used to ski bumps at Gore like 20 years ago. I've only skied Whiteface about 4 or 5 times and have never found a good bump run there. There must be though, right?

Do they let the steep slope at Sundown bump up? Everything has been groomed the few times I've been there.
