Yes, but if you hear banjo music, ski as if the devil were chasing you. http://forums.alpinezone.com/46920-kfc-all-way.html?highlight=kfc#post377374

you know, the guy who started skiing a few years ago who laments the loss of the soul of killington...

Is tuesday night a bad night to ski sundown due to racers on gunbarrel?
Sorry you didn't like the bumps. Most of us do! They were reseeded in the middle of winter. Short of a foot+ of snow, there is little reforming that can take place via skier traffic until it warms up. There are two main areas of skiable trees, one several hundred vertical feet. It doesn't sound like you found either of them. The main area is not at all obvious and takes some time just to get to it. You need to ski with a local.
I am pretty sure I am going to ski sundown on the 31st or 1st will anybody be there? Does it get crowded on the weekends, and how much is a pass
Post a thread in the Trips and Events forum, there's sure to be someone from here there that weekend.
It can get a little busy on the weekends, but the lift lines aren't usually worse than a 5 minute wait or so. For a small hill the crowds generally spread out pretty well once on the mountain. In my experience Saturdays are typically the busier day.
See their website for rate information. I'm curious; are you planning on being in the area already, or are you driving down just ski Sundown?
I would definitely not say the moguls suck, they are far from seeded, much more like natural. Perhaps someone just needs to learn how to ski them? At a mountain like that cross cut troughs have to be expected as masses of unskilled sliders try them out everyday. The only way they're going to get "reformed", again, is if more people zipper them to knock down the walls.
