I'd have to imagine that there were culverts in these ruts that got washed out during the storm, right? Or at least culverts could be used to repair the ruts both there and elsewhere. The area with the most damage is at the HOM-Bailout intersection - even with the two big storms late last season there was at most a foot-wide snow path across a pretty big damage zone. The stuff on Wizard won't matter as much if they're just making snow over it.

I haven’t been on the hill since Sunday but I’ll be there tomorrow and most likely Monday too.

East side should ski nice as there is some base. Can’t speak to West but it could be good. 6-12 might not be enough on the steeps under the chairs but who knows.

I’ll chime back in after tomorrow.

I figured not the steepest stuff, but would be nice to see some of the stuff like Hallows and Wardrobe open, and maybe Goniff/Twilight are low angle enough to get open with about a foot? Fingers crossed!

I’d love to get into Twilight this weekend. Let’s see what opens off West tomorrow after Ski Patrol checks it out. Twilight on East Side Monday of the storm actually delivers??To be honest, just getting into West Side tomorrow will be nice thanks to the snowmaking efforts!

West side will be wizard and that’s it. Some more snow and heart of the magician and hallows come into play. Maybe sorcerer and talisman, doubt wardrobe. Steep stuff under the lifts is a ways out before I would ski it. Twilight zone always skis well with low snow—suspect some of it is that it gets blow off from trick, but also that it’s pretty well shaded and the terrain holds snow well.

As the bird Flys, less than 20 miles South at my condo at Mount Snow, have a solid, frozen 6" or so of base with 2-3" of fluff on top. Guessing Magic is similar... And as such, 6" of medium density snow, should get a bunch of rope drops...

Just my 2 cents

First double black rope dropped...Slide of Hans. Have to imagine the lower angle woods on that side won't be far behind.
