Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.

Hey smooth don't you live in the New Yawk City the town so nice they named it twice where ya got record snowfall. So how about a pic on a horizontal plane?

Confused, as an Upstater. Named what twice ? I'm usually better at latching onto sideways references, but my mind today, alas, is bifurcated to the extreme..... :dunce:

Named it twice.
Apparently it was the name of a 1975 Broadway play.

....I'm with you now. Geez...when I forget to take my meds my brain simply does not work normally.

At least I'm 250 miles from Gothbabylon....though I love visiting the place. Come to think of it, a creative NYC skier could hit a few spots in Central Park that would absolutely backcountry ski beautifully in a post 30" storm....short but sweet, I'd dare say.

Anyone hear of Central Park backcountry being explored post-storm ???

Here are pictures that I took on sunday afternoon at about 4pm. The real heavy snow had just stopped, and I took my dog out into our backyard. Despite being a Saint Bernard, Hercules really does not like snow very much and refused to go into any of the areas of my yard that had deeper 2-3' drifts.
