I was doing some ironing in front of James Bond in "For Your Eyes Only" and I was struck by yet another great ski scene with James Bond on Olin Mark VI skis in Cortina!

He also is on skis in "The Spy Who Loved Me," "On Her Magesty's Secret Service," and "The World is Not Enough." What is your favorite ski scene?

He was great in this film--really able to carve those skis! The jump scene is hillarious! William Bogner was involved in the filming from what I saw. They spent a lot of time in that resort for the movie. They also had very little snow during that time to film, but they made it work.

My two favorite Bond skiing scenes:

The opening of "The Spy who Loved Me" where he skis off a cliff and deploys a parachute.

The scene in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" where the guy chasing him on skis falls into the snowblower truck and blood spurts out of the snowblower.

I was at Jokulsarlon, the glacial lagoon in Iceland where the opening part to " A View To A Kill" was filmed. The visitors center makes mention of the fact that the scene was filmed there.

I like how Bond used the snowmobile ski as a snowboard.

This is the Breidamerkur Glacier where they filmed the ski scene:

This is the lagoon, the iceberg in the picture is nearly 100' tall:
