So has there been any guidance about any changes to tomorrow's ops given Veep visit? Road closures? Checkpoints? Hoping it's a nothing burger and the day goes off without a hitch for the paying customers.

"As for what else was unexpected, you may have heard there is a high-profile guest from Washington DC who has chosen to visit the Mad River Valley this weekend with his family. We understand he and his family will be staying locally but not at Sugarbush.

Based on conversations we’ve had with the team who his shepherding the visit, we do not anticipate any effect to operations: lifts, parking, dining, etc will all operate normally with no modifications. As always, if you want to dodge the crowds (especially on a powdered Saturday) head for Mt. Ellen."

And it goes on in the FB post:
As we do every day, we look forward to showcasing everything that makes this place so incredibly special: from the top-notch skiing and riding, the food that comes from our local farms, and above all, the people who are the heartbeat of this community. Everyone should feel included in the celebration of the outdoors and the joy it offers to all regardless of race, religion, creed, gender, sexual orientation, ability, or background.

His boss won't like that he's skiing at a place that promotes inclusion...

I do have to wonder if this is meant to be a "Kill 'Em with Kindness" move.

Just because I know you all were on the edge of your seats...I elected (see what I did here) to stay home this weekend to take part in normal social life stuff. Of course the forecast just keeps getting better. Luckily next weekend will be out west at Telluride.

I'll leave it to you fine folks to make sure that our VP has a wonderful visit to the MRV and SB. For those of you who have homes at SB, just to be safe, you should put that plastic covering your Grandma used to have on your couches. #couchcondom

id love for this plane to land and for me to immediately get in my car and head to vermont, but i think that would kill my engagement.

i wouldn't be going to protest vance tho more power to the protestors. i do want to keep this ski streak going tho!
