Well of course, but that's better than waiting in Bravo to slide down deathspout then wait in heaven's gate to ski stuff off there, with crowded trails. and of course, castlerock is a long line in of itself. idk, the vibe at mrg for me is just better, i know people there so standing around at the bottom doesn't bore me as much as sugarbush i guess.
CR is the best comparison for me to waiting in MRG lines: it's worth it.

OK so what you are not seeing is where your red like comes across, it hits baically a cliff area/wall halfway across. That is the 3 sisters ridge and you can't just go that way. You will have to take the trail down hill and around it so you end up much lower.
Three sisters is the one off that ridge? I thought it was between that ridge and the smaller ridge skier's left of the Cutts peak slide, or is that three amigos?

you are already back from your run this morning? must be extra special out there!
We actually got a place at Jay for the weekend with family members. We bolted early to go grocery shopping and stopped at AJ’s at Stowe. 30% off all jackets and outerwear.
Skiing was surprisingly nice on the groomers. North Linx especially in the sun. Anything ungroomed was Passable but technically challenging. ;-)

easily the worst day of the year, at least for me

Today exceeded my expectations and I thought the groomers were pretty nice this morning. Yes the bumps and naturals are frozen solid...but the groomers were better than I expected.

If they had opened up more natural terrain (at mrg) I might've stayed longer, I kind of enjoy it. It was just way too cold and windy to be skiing groomers today. crazy how quick the conditions change.

Agree, groomers were way better than expected. we took a few runs on Castlerock and it wasn’t as bad as you’d expect. Rumble probably gave the best edgeable turns of the day not a groomer. Middle earth was actually not bad, the bottom sections of both weren’t awful. Although maybe that was just because we did two runs down Lixis early. Classic icy death bumps and the runout of moonshine was pure classic boilerplate danger. Thankfully I had good edges so wasn’t a problem. Made the best of it.
