I've skied a Groomed Steins death slide once. No thanks, I'd rather pick through icy moguls than having the chance of sliding to the bottom. and I hate icy moguls

I need to see it in person this weekend. I was looking at slug's photos and actually thought it didn't look as deep as I expected lol. Could just be the angle of the photo though...
It’s really deep, when you’re on it you are higher then the sides of the trail where the moguls are by a significant amount.

Well I guess every weekend can't be like last weekend. They are now saying mostly cloudy Saturday 45 with wind and non frozen precip starting at 5pm. Oh well.

Otoh, they will be open both Fridays going forward; 4/28 and 5/5. Website says no but social says yes. I called Mt Ops to confirm what was what. Patrick says yes.
Today was amazing. Even the crap they call Steins was good; the moguls and the flat lines. Be surprised if Upper Jester or DS makes it through Sunday. Lower OG on last legs too.

@ KS, missed you today. Steins and Murphy’s you would have liked. I did take a pic in your absence…..82BCF95D-40CB-4946-A4DD-678BB938D426.jpeg85A6B470-09B6-40B3-9052-F0E6D0DA4DA4.jpeg

Stein's is definitely deep in the middle of the trail. With tomorrow's weather forecast, today was likely my last day...
