I interpret this to read as the Sugarbush-specific season passes. Not Ikon. Ikon base still shows blackout dates for Sugarbush on their website for 2025-2026.

Will be interesting to see the pricing though on the Sugarbush-only passes. I'm largely ok with that philosophy of no blackouts on season passes that are essentially "local" passes only.
I saw a chart that indicated that the base did not have any blackouts at Sugarbush. I also saw that they have dropped the "Base Plus" pass.

i made a reservation for sunday at windham. saturday is sold out. i think i will check out a weirdo indy on sat. been to b-east. never catamount. dont think any of the indy PA places are worth my time. ive been to music festivals at montage

Montage is okay, the expert trails are at the bottom as you likely know since you camped on the easy stuff up top.

I wouldn't drive from NYC to ski Montage. That being said its worth skiing if you are passing through.

I ski Montage as I live in Pa and love it for a 'local' mountain on Indy but yea .... wouldn't come from NYC considering Kusty will have better options north of NYC with similar drive time

Oooooookaaayyyy. What a weird insult man.
I used to be a lift mechanic, and always wondered how long SB actually took to ride, as people always bitch that "it's like a 20 minute ride". Turns out it's shorter than Castlerock.
It wasn't and insult. Sorry you took it that way. I was just stating that it's wierd to me that someone would have exact stats on a lift. Most people my age are not data junkies and track all kinds of stats. I don't track my data, I don't download apps to see how much I ski. I just ski, Alot. Just like pretty much everybody I ski. This fascination with Apps and Data is something more prone to people in there 20's and maybe 30's. I am sure there other outliers.

smart choice...

My buddy wanted to go and camp and I said no. I'm not camping on a ski slope.

He didn't want to spend $$ on a hotel and I never went. no regrets :ROFLMAO:

Snow report paints a realistic picture of conditions this morning and got to believe it with the huge temperature change. Would be curious to know how it is from anyone out there today. Weekend looks chilly and windy esp Saturday.

It's going to be quite frisky this weekend for sure. Should help start to thin the herds of fair weather skiers, clocks forward, onto spring!

I'm heading out shortly before I pack up and head up to Jay. I will let you know. The snow in the parking lot is frozen solid. It was not last night. Groomers went out late night and are still working this Morning. The wind is ripping.

$500 for Bush doesn't sound too bad to me. College passes to either Stowe or Bush were about $350 in the late 90s when I was a UVM student.

$170 to MRG obviously a steal, but MRG isn't for everyone.

Yes, they like coming to SB over MRG because they generally have less time to ski between classes and social life so they want to get as many runs in as possible. They also go to ME a lot. Surprising amount of Midd students too who like bigger mountain skiing than the Snow Bowl.

This is what was on the website.
"There are a few more newsworthy(ish) bits. The immensely popular For20s pass is coming back. This is the pass that gives anyone ages 19-29 all-mountain access without blackouts for just $469. An all-mountain College Pass will be just $399 and college kids wanting more of the local feel can grab a Mt. Ellen-only pass for just $199."

Just facts mama.
