+1I really can't wait until they decommission that f-ing lift and take it down actually. It's closed because they chose not to open it. That's about it.

My Dalbellos basically are like hiking boots when I put them in walk mode, so I keep them on. Done it dozens of times. Glad Johnny Law hasn't caught me yet, but also have not hit anyone/thing either, so all good.I have actually just driven my own vehicle in between the 2 sides. Take one boot off and go. My wife and sons just left everything on.
Start Friday here. Seems way early.100%
And that's especially true in recent years where it seems the thaws always came within days of decent storms. So many times we'd get a hit on Wednesday and then rain by the weekend.
My life circumstances now place a much lesser value on April turns than in the past too. Lacrosse for my kids already started last week and games begin a week from Saturday.
I love Canteen and eat there often. Very slow but they own it and no one cares. Worth the wait. The menu is terrific and unique, and I have yet to have a bad meal there.somehow i went into canteen creemee for the first time ever last weekend. really no idea how ive managed to avoid that for my entire life. had no idea there was a full food menu happening in there, and that theyve been recognized by james beard. i feel dumb for missing out on years of what looks like it may be the best menu+affordable option in the valley. they were also blasting billy strings on vinyl. i wasnt hungry, got a creemee. but noted the food for next time
Tempest Bookshop...great place. Proprietor is a terrific person and knows a ton about all levels of books and music. If you are lucky, get there on a day he has fresh sourdough bread... The Blockhouse creative space is also pretty cool, and the woman who runs the yarn shop next to Canteen is incredibly nice and can fix anything. $10 saved a pair of Patagucci pants after they stopped backing up their products with warranty.that shopping center punches so far above its waitclass. the surly hippie pizza man. mad taco. mehurons <3. a decent enough dispensary. and canteen. also a bookstore or something like that i think?
Definitely go to her to see what she can fix.good to know. i have to put norrona warranty/customer service to the test this off-season but may need to find an independent gear repair option
