Yeah, forecast has been flip flopping like crazy if you've been paying attention. Happy to see at least some accumulation versus straight sleet or rain which it has been bouncing back and forth to over the past few days, we could sure use a miraculous April... The south facing slopes currently are in pretty dire straights, quite bony. Had some beautiful slushy laps late AM off of North Lynx, the rest of the hill didn't really loosen up throughout the day. To put things into perspective MRG had 15 trails open mid week and were able to bump it up to 30 with the recent small snowfall midweek, that being said there's still a lot of snow holding and the basic two week weather outlook looks promising with continued stabilized temps with a fair amount of precipitation mostly on the cold side, nothing mega imminent. Who knows what April will bring, last year was killer!
Single Chair blog saying 6-12. we'll see

10:15 pm update: dumping on MRG cams

Awesome day out there today. 2nd chair at 7:30 and 1 chair at HG. The storm so far has prooved out exactly like what the NWS had predicted for the last 3 days. The forecast was for 6 inches and that is exactly what we got. You can tell the warm air is trying to push in aloft. The consistancy on the untracked Ripchord had a little sleet mixed in, a little denser and was 5" so slightly less total accumulation.

The rest of today and tonight will be interesting. Cold VS Warm. who will win???? we will see. NWS is saying warm.

Crazy storm, just down the road Killington got pretty much all freezing rain, barely any lifts were able to run. Probably the worst day of the year an hour away from your awesome day.

Great day today, even late in the day. Snow was dense but not the spring cement I had feared. A little fog and mist in the air at times but overall an amazing day for March 29. Won’t be there tomorrow though, it ain’t gonna be pretty around here the next couple of days…

Freezing R*%# and 33 here at the base now. Started about midnight. didn't see a groomer out on the slopes last night. I assume they are waiting it out for now.

Took a walk around the base area after lunch. No GH or Bravo but the snow seemed nice and soft and was not raining. Valley House or Villager were the choices. I'm still out for the season with the new shoulder and now getting a new hip on Weds to confirm that decision. Should hold me a for a while,

Sucks getting old Ducky. At some point I am looking at a knee and an ankle. I'm just holding off the inevetable. Good luck. My friend that I visit Alpine Meadows got a double hip and was back in one year skiing better and without pain. He said it was a game changer. Good luck.

I'd love to head up, but it's my wife and my birthday's and it's just not in the cards. I'm pretty sure that I'm done for the season and if so, it was very much quality vs. quantity. One of my lowest totals in a long time. But that said, it included trips to Telluride and Jackson along with a bunch of good snow days at Sugarbush and Gore.
