I have asked some people I know and they have not heard anything about this. Kind of interesting. I am thinking it was some kind of last minute deal that was made by the lift ops people.

If taking these spare parts makes the lift run consistently this season, that is a win.

I still stand by my post in the killington thread though, it’s a complete joke that Sugarbush is scrounging parts from a 40 year old lift to duct tape and super glue a lift that needs a replacement. NRX is one of my favorite lifts on the mountain - as it’s all vertical and you can lap all types of terrain (when it’s working).
The parts they are sending to SB were post Poma retrofit. So while still old (about 27), not 40 years old components.

I think it is hard to say what "Parts" they are sending to Sugarbush from a single Instagram post show a truck with a tower on it. At some point this summer, I will run into John Hammond and ask the question. Everyone is just guessing at this point.
while you are talking with him, see if he will share any information on SB running next year.
