OK. So what exactly does this mean? Is GMX the only early lift on Monday at 8, or is it more or less closed until next weekend?

Does anyone look at these before they post it?

Operations are back to regular weekday hours. GMX will kick things off loading at 8:00 AM. All other scheduled lifts open at 9:00 AM, with the exception of Slide Brook at 10:00 AM. An update on GMX: We appreciate everyone’s patience as our team has been addressing a tower alignment over the last couple of days. Work has been slowed due to the excessive cold temps and high winds as we work to keep our crews safe. We do expect GMX to spin for the weekend and anticipate some work next week as we finish up some fine tuning.

I'm up here for a few days this week. Curious to see what the early morning update looks like.

They never changed the "update on GMX" part that they put in on Friday (I think it was Friday). So many times this season I've seen outdated info mentioned later on in the update. It really shouldn't be that difficult to read through the entire thing and make any updates necessary instead of just updating a few words here and there.

Exactly.

This is not rocket science. Not to beat a dead horse to death, but the level and quality of information since Alterra acquired SB has declined immensely.

Was wondering the same thing. My guess is Inverness will be your 8am option...

Northridge replacement project is in the permitting phase right now.
Wow, I am genuinely surprised they are tackling this lift. Understand it’s the oldest HSQ at Sugarbush, but I feel like Bravo is due for an upgrade first given that is the workhorse of all of sugarbush. So many hours over the years, and running through summers. If Bravo went down that’s much more detrimental than North Ridge. Frankly I’m not complaining since North Ridge is one of my favorite lifts, but it will be interesting to see how Alterra tackles the replacement of all those high speed quads that are 30+ years old.

Agreed to some degree. New VH and HG lifts and re-worked HG Traverse make Bravo shutdown less of an issues, except of course on busy Saturdays. New NRX will certainly help, but with both GMX and Inverness limping through the season, it's an interesting situation

As for crowds: Given the forecast of yet another frigid weekend, it will be empty this weekend
