Has anyone seen this message from Stratton regarding their gondola issues? Now that is how to communicate and be transparent with your customers and community!! Clearly the Sugarbush communication strategy of spin and no info is local and not on Alterra. Seems like it would come from the top(Hammond). "Do Better Here" should be the new slogan repeated by the customers.

I saw this and was planning to post here as well...agree this helps dispel the narrative that the lack of detailed/transparent communication is Alterra instead of local management...

It's going to be nice...snow is wetter than we have had this year, but still will be a hoot. Will be a zoo, so get here early.

Forecast for 10,000 visitors today.
That seals my decision. Will hit groomers tomorrow. Can't deal with that many people; even woods will be busy. Glad for the resort, though. We are a company town(s), like it or not.

Just shoveled driveway so wifey could get to work- snow is heavy and more damp than all year, though still nice. Coffee time and watch Olympics.

Busy today for sure, but I'm skiing untracked in the woods and don't see anyone else? Weird

This stuff, at least what wasn't groomed in last night (there was at least 6" down by 9pm ish) must be bumping up instantly. Imagine the abulances may be busy today.

Great day aside from the goggle freeze. Very busy, but lift lines not too bad. Ellen was a bit quieter than Lincoln Peak. Took Slidebrook back and forth. Groomed Lower FIS was great!

A couple thoughts… rocks860 always hits it good. The groomers yesterday were very good all day long. Slidebrook chair was running fast enough to create windchill. The sticker pole in CR Pub has been covered up. Snow today was not that heavy, lighter than expected. The freezing mist was a buzz kill. The music in the courtyard was really good, thank you senior management for this vast improvement. What a great day. I have missed this place.
