The worst line you've heard at the mountain

While renting skis at the indie shop in Squaw, just after the mountain pass road was re-opened following a 3-day snowstorm:

"You won't need powder skis today. Us locals tracked it all out on you when the road was closed!"

OK, this was my line. While talking to my VT housemate about New Years Eve plans in the biggest liftline in years @ Magic.

Me: We should go out tonight?

Housemate: Yeah but what about the kids in the house? Other housemates have to watch the kids & we all won’t be able to go. (we live in the Magic circle)

Me: We should just get a babysitter? “There must be dozens of teenage girls that live in the circle who want to make a hundred bucks for the night”

Needless to say, a few heads turned with that one.

Liftie kid to his boss-"We are closing early tonight right? All of this crappy snow, is ruining the trails"
Skier to a worker at the MTN- "When are they going to start grooming the trails?"
