Watched the hi-res and it made me smile again. Awesome day for sure. :D My double pole plants were irritating me though. ;)

Randi and I were the the following day. The conditions were sweet!

I think I might have to find how I can join the elite group of CLITS so I can participate in trips like that.

not to be a killjoy but wheres the powder. i see lots of cowder but that is not what i call a powder day. still looks fun

Killjoy? No, you my friend would be better defined as a powder snob, a mentality that I vow never to subscribe to. This flatlander hack is more than content skiing the lame tracked out crud you see in that vid. The day I become too selective about my skiing surface is the day I should either (1) hang up the skis or (2) move out west. Neither are likely to happen so how about keeping terminology nitpicking to yourself? :???:

You're the master grump, gramps, Don't you worry. See? Gramp. Grump. Only one letter off.

Powder snobbery just rubs me totally the wrong way. This thread was just meant to share a day that was special to me with others that might find the video enjoyable. I wasn't looking for a critique on my surface selection....

I think he was critiquing your use of the word "powder" not what you were skiing on.

BTW nice video...what kind of camera do you use?

Heard it on the satellite radio that day on the way home. I'm not stuck in the 60's or 70's for my music selection.
