I heard that The Today Show will be broadcasting from Sugarbush on Thursday, Feb 21st. Great job by their Corporate/Media Communications department on setting this up. Set your TiVo's, lady's and gentlemen.

Just got the report. Sounds like Sugarbush wasn't the only NE resort in contention for the broadcast, but it was the chosen one! I think that will be excellent for the mountain, and for the Valley. Today Show will definitely reach several million viewers. That's what we call exposure!

Hey Win... who you gonna have make appearances???

Bump. SB is pretty excited and they should be!

"Thursday, February 21st, "Today" will be broadcasting all four hours of its programming live from Sugarbush Resort. The broadcast kicks off at 7am and the whole “Today” crew will be here. So please be sure to tune in to NBC at 7am on Thursday morning and click here if you'd like any more info."

Why don't we go throw snowballs at them? or Blast em with some hockey stops?
Sadly, I don't do TV. Plus, it's at a very bad time. Too bad we can't have the video uploaded to the net....

Major props to Win if he can work in an AZ reference, even a thinly veiled one, on national TV.

Something along the lines of... "And I'll give every young, good looking woman a free lift pass if they go to Marc's house with a six pack of beer wearing nothing but base layer and an open mind..."

Add me to the list of destinations for said young women....

I think that you migth see some Today show skiing footage, although Meredith Viera is also scheduled to do a "penguin plunge" for Special Olympics in Burlington on Thursday. That might upstage the skiing footage

It is looking to be a cool show. A fun opening shot of skiing down Spring Fling, some footage of what it takes to prepare a mountain for skiing and riding, some fun stuff that the cast plans on doing outside, interviews with George of Flatbread and Ben and Jerry, and Al Roker surrounded by a bunch of people who are coming in for the show! The local NBC tv and radio affiliates are also broadcasting from here tonight and tomorrow am. I am taking Matt Lauer out for a ski tonight and hopefully the clouds will part so the full moon will be totally visible before the total eclipse later tonight.

Matt looked like he knew what he was doing. They should take him up on Castle Rock and see what he can do.

I had the same thought. I'm sure they're skiing the groomers because they don't want it to look too scary for the typical viewer, but darn, I wanted to see Lauer on something that would show his skill level.
