West Ledges at the Crotch were amazing from Feb on last year. There are numerous lines and some get pretty steep for S. NH. There are other glades that aren't on the map but I don't know the local names for them.

Never heard of it. I think you stumped me for once lol

Haha. I would love to cross reference stuff with you. I have my own names for so many ski cuts others cut before me. Always wondering the original names. I find many of these.

This one I didn't name personally...and something tells me this isn't the original name.

Gotta love the trail sign haha. You most definitely know a lot more about Stowe than I do. My wife thinks I'm crazy that I have notebook full of trail maps marked up with lines I have found lol. I think we are both into the same type of terrain. It would be cool to hit up some stuff this winter.

That looks like the area I had always heard was called Empire.

Oh cool, thanks! This spot is pretty low elevation. I'd like to pin point it more to figure out if it is the same zone you know of but won't get into detail here.

The sign is so funny. I was bushwhacking through the woods after exploring some really amazing lines higher up back in Ranch Valley and just stumbled on this one.

Yes we are on the same wavelength! I have been making my own trail maps with all of the secret trails I find.

I'm 100% obsessed.

Let's link up this season. I'm sure we would have a great time.
