Thumbed through a copy of this at the Bangor Airport yesterday. $50 was too much...found a copy online for $15 (new). Amazon is a wonderful thing....

Well, first it was Lorentz's book on Killington, then it was a book on Pico. Then I bought:

Nice, TB. I always like your ski area history lessons on the lifts...and on the slopes...and apres ski. ;)

I also just found "Roxy's Ski Guide to New England" by Roxy Rothafel, the first official independent ski reporter. This little book was only $3.95 in a used bookstore. Circa 1978. Reading about what the ski areas used to be like, and what some now NELSAP areas were like, is very interesting.

Speaking of NELSAP, you may want to check out this new book "Lost Ski Areas of the White Mountains." Make the most of your downtime now.

I did see that. I am more interested in the Vermont edition which I hope will come out soon....
