Lots of positive buzz and a great start so far. Are we in for a season to remember?

I hope so! The early season storm has certainly helped! As well the cooler temps. Things look good for blowing snow into next week (at night) up in Southern VT.

Planning on it. I have the best quiver yet, so it should be good. 3 trips west and a few weekends in Vt to boot.

Some are more memorable than others, last year, 2000-2001 off the top of my head, but they're all memorable. Even 06-07 when it took FOREVER to get started, but from Valentine's Day on was SICK

Ski season is here and it will be great.....always is.

This will be my 30th season to remember! There's never a bad season in my book, just some with a few more and deeper powder days than others :) :snow: :)

I haven't used a vacation day in months..I'm waiting and waiting for..."The Perfect Storm"
I use up 2/3 of my vacation days between January and April.

Our "sick" time (we call it flex days) resets in October so while I'm tapped out of vacation days, I have 5 flex days ready and waiting. I won't be a jerk about it...I schedule these days in advance:wink:

My boss just approved the 1st week in January off for me. As soon as he saw the vacation request, he commented "oh boy here we go again with all the ski days"

I have broken him in and trained him well

It is off to a good start so far.

I have to say, the word epic is so overused, I hate it. Everyone thinks everything is epic, which totally waters down the meaning.

A little mid-month warmth, but overall one helluva start so far. Tons of ski areas opening up this weekend and presumably many more for T-day weekend!
