What was formerly Sterling Forest resort in Tuxedo, NY has re-opened (as of yesterday), under new management as Tuxedo Ridge. Check out their website here: Tuxedo Ridge.

I'm not good at trip reporting, but must mention today's trip to Tuxedo Ridge, my first one. Me and my 5-year old were on the lift around 9:30 and spent 3 hours skiing Bunny hill, Tiger Pass and Tiger West. No liftlines, great snow and perfect ski day all around. I think vertical here is bigger then Mt Peter, and these two Tiger trails ski like classic NE trails, liked it much better then Mt.Peter or Campgaw. Drive for me was exactly 30 minutes - from Fair Lawn, NJ which would make it 45 minutes from GWB. Go there, and try tubing too!
