Volant Machete skis

Anyone skied the Machetes. Specifically the Soul version. I just got a pair and have not had a chance to ski them yet.

If you have skied them, what do you think of 'em?

I am going to try them out Saturday at Pats Peak, so I will post what I thought about them.

Good stuff. I really had a lot of fun with them. I rented them for a bit of time somewhere and had a great time. Out of all the ones I demoed last year and the year before they were definitely my favorite.

I've skied both the Soul and the Truth. I believe I liked the Soul better. But this is all last year or the year before. I ended up buying a pair off of e-bay, but that didn't work out so well, but I may end up using them in the backcountry once I get them fitted for my boots.

I ended up not buying them though since I got a great deal on Dynastar Intuitiv 77s.
