anyone know of any decent deals for CO?

in my research, I can still find cheap last minute direct flights to Denver. However, I could not find any incredibly great deals on lodging, lift and transportation.

it seems like to get cheap flights to SLC, you have to book atleast a month in advance.

American Airlines has/had a $260 Round Trip Net SAAVER - Winer Destination Deal round trip LaGuardia to Jackson Hole, Wy. March 20 to 28. Same deal departing from Newark, NJ. Stay at www.hostelx.com ski-in and walk to lift only 100 yards from lifts. Best plywood cowboy hotel around.

Last year for the Jackson Hole TRAM., ;)

the name and number would be fantastic, thanks.
The Marriot Residence Inn. Just booked it and found a last minut cheap flight. My wife was on the computer and phone for hours. It's getting harder and harder to do this. Maybe one day we won't have to anymore.

Cheaper and nice hotel for Alta/snowbird.

Days Inn in Midvale, UT. 801 566 6677 - Next to Bus stop where bus leaves for ski resorts. You will be first on the bus and guarnteed a seat in the morning. Also next to train stop for trip into the city. I stayed there. Very nice and clean. Has a little breakfast area for complementary coffee and bagels in the morning. Has a ski/snowboard package deal includes bus ticket and lift ticket.

Year before last we went to PC. We rented a small condo near The Canyons that we found on vrbo.com (vactation rentals by owner). You can find some decent deals on VRBO, certainly less expensive for Park City than anything I've looked at through other sources. There are several hotels in the Sandy/Midvale area which provide better access to the Cottonwood Canyons areas (Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton) and are less expensive. You might look at www.skiutah.com for other places in the Sandy/Midvale area. But it's basically the suburbs of SLC. If you're just going to ski and don't care about staying in a place that feels like a ski resort, Sandy/Midvale is about as inexpensive as you'll find. My wife and I take ski vacations and generally want some mountain village atmosphere. The Best Western Cottontree that someone else suggested seems very popular with skiers; tirolerpeter likes it and it gets good reviews on tripadvisor.com. We really enjoyed Park City as a skiing town but we liked the skiing at Alta better. You might also take a look at is the Summit County area of Colorado. I've found some decently priced packages to Copper and Breckenridge on www.worldonskis.com. Or, you could base yourself in the Frisco/Dillon/Silverthorne area and be relatively close to Breck, Copper, Araphahoe Basin and Keystone. And Vail and Beaver Creek are only about 25-30 miles.
