What a game! Why the Eagles didn't show a little more urgency with the clock winding down I'll never know. It's almost like they forgot they needed to score twice. McNabb is not the qb everyone says he is. I know there's a lot of jitters going into a big game, but he choked big time last night. A few of those passes looked like high school caliber.

Anyone else think the field conditions stunk? I noticed guys on both teams having some difficulties.

Funny thing. When Brady had his first run of wins playing in place of Bledsoe - I was sure his run would end and we'd have Bledsoe again. And I thought Bledsoe should have been played more in that round of playoffs. Brady has proved a lot of people worng, and I was definitely one of them.

Those Pats are amazing. I don't think that losing the assistants will mean all that much. Remember, If you can replace players, you can do the same for the coaches. Right now they need to sign Adam V. and keep him in a Pats jersey until he retires. I think he's earned that. Ty Law is a tough call but with Asante Samuel and Randall Gay, I think we would be okay as long as they drafted some more depth there. The draft should prove interesting.

have you heard on mcnabb is now saying he was sick during the game and couldnt even talk so someone else had to call the play in the huddle, im not to sure i believe it though. I think he might of been a lil sick but not that bad.

The Eagles at first said he had a major concussion. I would agree as my wife and I both commented on how he would probably have one after a huge hit from Seymour early in the game. He was slow to get up and was flexing and rubbing his jaw all the way to the sideline. The replay showed him taking a huge hit on the chin when Seymour landed on top of him. If the concussion was serious enough he could certainly get sick and disoriented. It's also one of those things that seems okay after the hit, but an hour or two later your brain is toast.

It would explain why the Eagles didn't go to a no-huddle offense after their touchdown. McNabb's mental capacity was probably shot and he couldn't remember the set of plays for the no-huddle offense. I noticed the offensive coordinator for the Eagles motioning for the offense to hurry up in the waning moments of the game, but there was little they could do with McNabb throwing up in his helmet.

I'm not trying to make excuses for McNabb, but the whole sports world was asking why the hurry-up offense was not employed. Was it Pinkston that went to the locker room with cramps? I also saw someone else go down for the Eagles with cramps. The whole team was probably running on empty in the last quarter. My guess is from exhaustion as it was 50 degrees that night. Not exactly hot. If it is indeed true, it's a perfect example of how the Patriots are great at wearing you down physically and mentally.

Experience pays off. The Pats knew what to expect on the worlds biggest stage. The Eagles were Super Bowl rookies and it showed. If McNabb did have a concussion, why not bring in the backup. Smitty is right, most concussions make you sick to your stomach afterwards and Andy Reid should have pulled him and given his team a chance with the hurry up offense.

Anyone know the extent of Eugene Wilson's injury. On replay it looked like he broke is arm...
