That's kinda the dilemma with people you've never met before with skiing/snowboarding. Matching the skill levels, terrain you like to ski, age, personalities, etc... Some people don't care how fast you go. Some rip and don't want to be held back. Some just want to be with anybody no matter what their skill level and have a good time. I guess you just take a chance. I figure worse case scenario, if it doesn't look like it's gonna work out, you pretend to lose them on a trail and go about your business! :p
That's the thing... I went on a ski trip in May with Trekchick and still didn't get to ski with her because I couldn't keep up!

I'm fairly inexperienced and I know it. I get myself into trouble trying to do everything everybody else can do because I want to ski with others... and I forget that they've been at this much longer than I have. But if anyone is patient and doesn't mind holding back a little, I'd be happy to ski with 'em! :D

Why are you guys hatin on those that ski in the ADKs? Did I miss something cause I don't get it.

I've always enjoyed skiing with people I've met trough AZ or SKIADK and I hope I keep meeting more.

I'd like to ski with Camp and Comeback cause they ski WF every season, post here and SKIADK, just seems like it should happen. I'd like to ski with Bivbert again too, good dude.

HDP---they're just jealous---we will hook up at WF 4 sure this year

I'd love to ski with anyone who'd Dog Dare Me!
I should have said, Triple Dog Dare me, but sometimes a Double Dog Dare is enough ;)

If we have to name names, there are a few that pop into mind without any thought:
Carrie for Starters. I sort of skied with her but never really skied with her, ya know?
Seems that if I'm gonna sleep with the woman, I should at least ski with her.
Brian because for some odd reason Carrie speaks highly of him. Go figure?
Dr jeff, moguhl, and wa-loaf because they double dog dared me. ;)
Marc, because he's a ski diva!
I[Hart] because he's a great friend and ski buddy, who tends to push me beyond my comfort zone.
RachelV because I wanna be a ripper like her when I grow up!:spread:

There are more, but I can't possibly list 'em all..........

*If I spelled your on line name wrong, tough crap, its a small thing, get over it!

HPD, I'm not hating on anyone. Ok the woodland thing was a joke but honestly i would like to ski with the ADK crowd. You guys seem to all march to the beat of your own drummer. and based on what i've seen from you, mcII and your son, and what i gather from reading here from the others, i would bet you're all pretty sick skiers to boot.

I'm not complaining! :D I'm grateful for the Divas who took me under their wings, especially on Mother's Day when that early morning freak-out threatened to ruin the day entirely for me. Katy Perrey was a God-send that day! (Itri and Gina23, on the other hand, were my saviors on Saturday [along with AZ's own Tim and Randi]!)

Trust me, I know you aren't complaining. Great mix of people and great mix of abilities made for a phenomenal weekend for all involved. You've never seemed to complain about it in any way, just stating facts. Fact is, I'd do it again in a hart beat............lets go!!!

I've met up with alot of people over the years, mostly from here but a few from KZone too. the one thing that surprises me when i think about it is how relaxed most people are in these situations. I have yet to have this scenario happen. I'd imagine it could make for some awkward moments online later on down the road, but this whole internet messageboard thing is really just a time killer in the long run. Its what happens between the lines, so to speak, that counts.

Deadhead
Beano (I met him at SB, but didn't have the chance to ski with him)
BMM

To name a few anyway. I'd like to ski with pretty much everyone here and I definitely would like to ski with everyone that I've already met through here.

Dave the Gramps post was not directed at you. You still are an old fart.

Like Geoff said I will also ski with anyone any ability. No ego. I have learned to get off the groomers a bit after being tortured by some here.:argue:

Severine love to grab a run with ya. Probably hard to get our paths to cross. I'm not it Ct much or Vermont where it seems you have been, If you come to Sr as it looked like you had mentioned. I'll have you guys over for cocktails.

Yay! It's been so long since I skied with you Bob that it's almost like we never have. We'll have to meet up at the Loaf again sometime. Misery Whip is not your average groomer and you killed it with style:

Damn I see a bald spot. It was a lift line. Others can tell when and what. You ain't see nothing till Joe goes after it. Man was a beast on that run.
