A Black (NH) "35" Euro on my rear bumper (my car's only bumper sticker, btw) b/c: 1) They sent it free; 2) There was some kind of contest involved and 3) Ain't seen it on anybody else's rig so wtf -- it says "there's one quirky dude driving this car."
An ASIA sticker taped inside the rear window behind the passenger seat b/c: 1) It was free after passing my Level I course; 2) Putting it on the helmet or skis seemed a little presumptuous, like others would now expect me to ski well or something and 3) It helps spotting my ride in ski area parking lots easier (green Outbacks with CT plates aren't exactly rare.)
And, not a sticker but there's a cardboard placard dating from the 1960s with a cartoon of a little Viking on skis and the legend "Help Stamp Out Summer" propped up between the dash and windshield b/c 1) It was free (sense a trend here?) -- the NE Ski Museum at Cannon was giving 'em away a couple/three years ago; 2) It was hella kewl in a retro, bear-trap bindings and full-leg-casts old-school skiing kinda way and 3) Chicks dig cute little Vikings.
