Fortunately, my daughter is racing at Hunter on Saturday.

Unfortunately, she is racing at Holiday Mountain on Sunday. What is it like there? Is the vert like 400 ft.? Is it worth even bringing my own skis? Will they let me do a long run or ride my MTB around the slopes instead?

Never been, but according to this site it has 52 trails, 13 lifts and 751' of vert, not to mention 24 miles of x-country. The town sounds nice, too:

How to describe the Village of Ellicottville? That is not an easy task. The Village, although it is only 1 square mile, is full of fun, activities, shops and restaurants to please folks of all ages and interests. Stroll down the main streets and you'll find a genuinely friendly place. Soak up the down-to-earth hospitality and discover a unique collection of fine restaurants, one-of-a-kind shops, a microbrewery and intriguing galleries. Ellicottville's 19th century charm is lovingly preserved in its homes and historic buildings that sit on quiet tree lined streets. In downtown Ellicottville you'll find a great variety of very special shops...Indonesian imports at Gado Gado, unique toys for all ages at Shhhh, natural soaps, foods and health related items at Nature's Remedy, gifts, cards and Webkins at the Holiday Shoppe Gift Store, several high quality specialty ski and snowboard shops plus many more.***

Never been, but if you have to go anyway why not bring them and check it out.

Nice mountain and town.

That's an awful long drive from Hunter though. It is at least an hour south of Buffalo I believe.
