I miss the superstar bump fest in may. personally, i think its some of the best times to be had skiing. Upper headwall usually has some sick lines over the the skiers left. middle is a mush fest and then you get the longer pitch at the bottom to just let 'em run.

Sounds just like a mini-Gunbarrel...

Figuring I'll try to ski first weekend in May if something is open. Hoping to finally do Tucks this year, but would rather that be in April than May, if things work out.

Not until the lifts stop spinning.

If work cooperates I'll get a week at Tahoe in April.

No year is complete without spring skiing at Sugarloaf.

Home mountain closes April 5. Then it's weather dependent. The nice part of living close to the I-80/I-287 interchange is that I can get north very quickly. NNY and VT/NH are all within a reasonable driving range for a last blowout weekend. Jay Peak offers me a good discount with my CBK pass.

i'll probably get out until Mt. Snow or killington closes the doors, whichever place stays open longer.

Really really really really hoping for a may closing for killington.

i'm salivating thinking about it.

Sounds like you're looking for Killington's soul

Hoping to get to May 3rd if Killington or Mt. Snow can make it that far. That would complete a full 6 month season.

It's just started.

Best skiing is just starting. My season ends when there is no one open. No more big holiday weeks. Can ski 7 days a week and enjoy now. Yahoo. Beach weather is coming (on Snow)

The 2nd half

This is the time of year when I get most of my quality skiing in.

A weeks ski vacation + all of the spring trips.
Should go till May with 15-20 more days to go.

I'm unable to predict this yet. Work is getting busier, and Blue is closing soon. Hopefully I'll make it to the 2nd weekend in April.

I'm confused, I thought ski season was just starting? In my opinion April is the best ski month of the season followed closely by March, then May.
