There are usually discounts to be had for the locals in most New England states.

Except MA :(

Right, because regrettably for you and I, that's where the money is.

Keep the thought about MA discounts and ask the resorts during this year's AZ Mountain Challenge (which hopefully we'll be doing again).

Maybe so...but we're spending all of our money on housing, so in the end we don't have any more left over for skiing then other folks. :-?

Don't worry, we don't get any breaks at our local mountains here in CT either... Of course thats because we make up most of their business...

I was at Cannon on Feb 22nd, and there was a reasonable crowd there. The difference between the 22nd and 23rd is explained easily. The 22nd is Tuesday that is a two-for-one lift ticket day at Cannon. (The same thing on Thursdays)

Oh yeah we know all about high costs of living and we don't have a Taj Mahal either!

Having MA/CT discount days is a good question for the Alpinezone Challenge...

If you want to save some $$$$ and have plenty of elbow room, join us at Burke on Saturday!! Still time...and they've been getting pounded with snow. Sunshine in the forecast for this weekend.
