i was up at Smuggs on Sat-Wed..Sat was howling and bitterly cold -20/-25 took 2-3 runs and had to go in for a bit (sunday was a bit warmer, less wind)....make sure everything is covered, get some handwarmer packets and you'll be ok

Heading up to Attitash tomorrow for Founders day. Does this usually get overcrowded? I took the day off back in early December for this.. I was out last wed, I think it was colder.

I've got the A41 pass so I'd avoid the founders day thing like the plague, but from what I've heard it does get crowded. If I could I'd be braving the weather tomorrow someplace else, but unfortunately life this year has conspired against my getting to ski

Hopefully I'll get my darned car back soon and the other situations will be resolved :(

Friday is Mt. Snow to do on-course Nastar drills. I'm all set, just back from the shop. Shopping list: replacement Baklava to prevent frostbite, Combo Tune-up kit for my helmet so I can race to the tunes and call 9-11 when I impail myself on a gate and extra warming pads.
I'll tune to the official AZ channel (is it 3-13 or 13-3?) in case anyone wants to meet this fool. My wife thinks I'm dopey going out skiing at 0F. I think she wrote the ONION article....

Well said Jim, the people who are more concerned about their looks and what they are wearing instead of their skiing will be inside, should be ski right up just about everywhere.

Sorry I take a bit of offense from the above posts, but hey thats your opinion, I don't care about how I look when I ski. I care about how I feel-I find it extermely uncomfortable to be skiing in sub-zero weather. THATs why I'm not skiing. AND, those that know me certainly wouldnt consider me a gaper, but so what if I was? Weren't you at one point?
Anyway, don't mean to come off harsh - I'm a little edgy today. Must be PMS lol.

I don't care about the price, I have a season pass there, but I have a boarding school interview tomorrow in Massachusetts, otherwise I'd definitely be up at Bell.
