Nice Larry Bird screenname! Skiing in the rain can be fun, but I don't think it would be on a powder day...rain skiing is better on groomed spring skiing (or ice). It'll probably just make things messy...wouldn't be surprised if they closed until things clear up.

We'll I talked to a friend who was up at Wildcat today and told me most of the people working at the cat seem to be expected the rain to at worse be a mix tommoro and they predict the skiing to be good. So I think I'm just gonna take a chance and go for it. If it starts pouring when I get there o well. Anyone else gonna head to the cat tommoro ?

You might as well go for it. The only thing is, since there will be high winds, I am guessing the quad will be on wind-hold.

i'm there tomorrow. my guess is that it will be mixing a little at the bottom, but it should be crazy deep. lifts are a concern, but if they can spin the tomcat triple, i would be happy with the terrain off that. other than the loaf, wildcat seems to be the best place to hang for the next couple days. bringin the fatties for sure.

Wildcat is a no-go for Monday, not quite sure how hard it is blowing at the top of the quad, but on MW it hit 141mph this AM.

ICK!
