I said no but it's not on account of the weather. Its on account of the fact that when I get home tonight I'll be downing the better part of a bottle of nyquil and probably wont wake up again until Monday.

If the storm for sunday does not materialize and threaten the drive home, I might go up to Sunapee with my son. I just saw that they have a cupon that allows him to ski for free when I buy and adult ticket for myself, which at $64 is a good deal IMO.

They claim to still have edge to edge cover on all of there trails.

nope, not any more... :( i had the car packed and was about to leave. then i talked to my ski buddy and we decided that our edges were not sharp enough for the bullet proof conditions that are going to be par for the course tomorrow.

thinking about heading up tomorrow instead, maybe Sun am, then ride Mon and Tue.

I am so depressed I can't even talk about it... who has something sharp? or a rope? pray for snow, it may save a life.

You people are making me want to ski even more, just to spite you all...

There's still snow on the trails, get out there and ski it! Apparently you'll have the slopes to yourselves...

Sounds blissful... :D

Having you passed out isn't blissful for him?? Sounds like a good deal to me, he'll have the house to himself?? If he needs a maniac girl running around the house yelling at him he's welcome to come watch our daughter... so my wife and I can go skiing together... ;)

Oh no, because I'm akin to a hundred pound four-year-old when I'm sick...and I can only assume a cough-syrup endused semi-coma is going to ultimately result in me whining like a ninny about whatever it is I'm going to die if I don't have this time and then passing out again by the time he gets it for me... lather, rinse, repeat...

I am not trying to sound rude, but what the hell is your 4 year old doing weighing 100 lbs. I was like 14 when I broke the 100 lb mark. Maybe I am totally off, but that sounds enormous to me. Definitely not a future AlpineZoner.

OK, that does sound like a drag for him then. I think he needs to either give you more cough syrup or something stronger... Gotta keep that coma going all weekend... Or do what I'd probably do, just leave the house... or, better yet, wait for you to pass out and move you into the garage... ;)

Uhm... you should maybe re-read the post. Seeing as I was talking about myself being like a four year old. Right.

Huh? I'm pretty sure that she was saying that she is like a 100 pound 4 year old when she's sick. Insinuating that she weighs 100 pounds and acts like a 4 YO. I have no idea how much she weighs, but I can totally see her whining like a 4 YO...

Everyone thank ULLR for kindly providing the goods for the Holiday Season, and for scheduling a break in the weather, suitable to facilitate everyone's current " TO DO list".

ULLR knows this weekend in January is always the slow-poke weekend, regardless of what the weather does. Too much "ketch-up" in so many ways from the holidays, and looking towards a 3 day weekend coming.

ULLR made the meltdown happen this week, she knew it was the right time for it.

So please don't forget the ULLR pawrayers and ritchewals as you go about your non-ski business this weekend. Stay on her good side.

Unfortunately no....I'm still nursing my shoulder injury. Probably a good thing I wait until after I see the PT next Wed to see what they've got to say. This rain can't be too good for the slopes either......

My wife was happy to leave for work when I got home so as not to deal with the grumpy father and son team pouting over the washout and lack of quality skiing this weekend.

It's funny how my son and I think and feel alike during the January thaw, I've created a monster.:daffy:
