Date(s) Skied: Monday, Feb 9th
Resort or Ski Area: Windham mountain
Conditions: Ice ice ice ice, and more ice..
Secondary conditions: Wet Snow
Trip Report: Had the day off work today (PEARFECT DAY FOR SKIING). The lifts had NO lines at all!!!!.
I tried to make the best out of my day, and I did have fun reguardless of the fact that there was ice everywhere. It was the first time where i saw a sign at the bottom of the east peak lift that said "the WHY NOT trail, and the WEDGIE trail are all ice". The secondary conditions were wet snow which weren't very bad. Some areas of the mountain were powdery, however most of the mountain wasn't. I was trying to find nice powdery spots to make my turns so I wouldnt loose control from the ice.
My very first run was Upper Wolverine, and this trail has the worst grooming on the entire mountain. They groomed half of upper wheelchair which made it nice. I did about 10 runs, then i called it quits because of the conditions. But oh well, I'm not pissed off about the conditions, its nothing the mountain can really control. But they do need to do a better job a grooming!.
