You GOT IT.

Trailboss is once again skiing, kayaking, and hiking packing “digital heat.” I just ask that you:

1. LOOK at the pictures and enjoy them because last season folks just weren't checking them out, and

2. NOT RIP them off.

Enjoy!

Nice, I always enjoy the trip reports with pics more.

Just picked up a Panasonic DMC-TZ3 myself. Looking forward to seeing how it performs on the slopes!

Nice! The Powershots have a great video mode as well so we'll be looking for some rad vids out of you too. All my vids from last year were from an A700 and built using Windows Movie Maker. Start playing around with it!

So after about three weeks, I've noticed that folks seem to be digging the pics and enjoying the TR's. Lots of folks have been checking out the gallery. Thanks!

Special thanks to the original trailboss for his help in finding the right camera. Glad I spoke with him beforehand. I am LOVING IT. The features are great, including the B & W option and the menus are so easy to use. Love the viewfinder and big screen. Easy to hold and use.

Update: 2,400 pictures and vids later and I am asking myself what I did before this camera. I have not uploaded any photos lately (not enough time) but I am finding that it is light, durable, has many, many awesome and easy to use features that enhance my photos, etc. The photo quality is awesome. The vid quality is adequate for what I do. It is small enough to go anywhere, but is great for my trips.

I ended up getting the same camera for my parents for Christmas (a belated present). No brainer folks. They love it and they can ask me questions about what to do and I know how to answer. They use the automatic mode and get great results. I fool around with the different settings.

My lithium batteries last FOREVER. The last time I changed batteries was in March????

Canon rocks.
