I have a few and I might have had more but finances are going to limit my days on the mountain this year.

Therefore I don't really have any resolutions to improve my skills beyond the pace of natural evolution. My resolutions are

#1: Make the most of my limited ski days by hitting post-powder days hard and spring skiing extensively. ((Not "wasting" time/money on icey/crusty days at places I don't like so much anyway))

#2: Hit some little mountains with my girlfriend who is just learning to ski and see if we can get her to a decent intermediate level this winter.

#3: Make the most of my Ski VT 5 pass, Bolton Valley 4-pass, K Express Card, and Mountain Sports Club membership which have all at my disposal this season.

#4: Try to get to some areas I haven't been to in a while.... Smugglers Notch, Sugarbush South, Bromley, Ragged Mountain and others

#5: Alpinezone Summit

Focus.

This is a 2014 goal for me overall. But it definitely applies to skiing/riding. I notice that my attention tends to drift, and this is not a good thing at high speed, in trees, etc. I'm really focusing...on focusing this year.

Maintain my technique in difficult terrain. I've noticed when I am on really difficult terrain I go into survival mode, and while I don't fall (usually), my technique looks absolutely terrible.

That's an issue I have. I keep trying.

To make more skiing/riding buddies to share this great sport with!

To not get hurt so badly that I miss any significant time.

To help my family (and maybe a few friends) take it to the next level, and enjoy enjoy skiing even more!

Not sure sure if this will help nor am I calling any one out. I have been trying to figure out ways to improve my balance, I found these balance boards a couple of months ago. Been messing around with a narrow stance board, kind of fun to do while watching TV. I can feel the difference in my skiing.
