Well, the Poma at Burke, which is still there, is frickin steep at the top. It almost picks you up off of the snow at one point and man does it burn. :x

Castlerock double and MRG single. So many fun choices off both lifts and empty trails when you finally get off.

3) Deeper Temerity (Aspen Highlands) - This lift doesn't exist as of yet - it's being installed this summer. Regardless, I've skied that terrain multiple times and rest assured, this lift will instantly become legendary in the lore of North American skiing. The terrain that it serves is unbelievably varied and uniformly challenging. It includes the super steep (and long) bump runs of Steeplechase, the long and steep trees runs in the Temerity area, and the unrivalled steep, open bowl skiing of Highlands Bowl. This lift will go down with the legends like KT-22, Jackson Tram, Snowbird Tram, MRG Single as one worth lining up at for a long time on powder mornings.

I skied Highlands about 6 years ago and they were talking about this lift then. Steeplechase was already amazing, the high speed quad going to the top made access easy, and it was already 2000 vertical. I'm sure if I went back that new lift would immediately become one of my favorites.

I like all lifts that lead to snow! I do not discriminate based on size or type of lift. Though I do have to admit, I sometimes discriminate based on line length.
