Getting real high now. Picked up my new Blizzard Brahma's last week, now this week seeing all the snowmaking porn. 2 more weeks unfortunately until I can get out on the slopes.

I had expected to go skiing this past weekend and never made it. Ended up feeling down all day Sunday. Have not started our ski season this late since 2007.

Need snowwwwwww!

Where will these "WRODs" be mayhaps? The weather window is rather slim this week. Snowmaking temps for two maybe three nights?

Wachusett was making snow this morning. They have another night or two so there may be some sketchy turns to be had on Ralphs Run Friday or Sat.

WROD doesn't even slightly raise my interest, let alone get it to "through the roof" levels.

Not jonesing for the wrod. But until there is something better available I don't mind driving 30 mins to take the edge of for a couple hours and do a little sliding around.

WROD that is nicely groomed and carve able works for me! Actually I generally don't mind skiing anything.

The WROD is kinda like CRACK. You know its not good for you, but you do it anyway!

I had a near death experience on a Pa. WROD....or was more like a string. Came around a corner and hit "Death Bearings"
death cookies that had freezing rain on top, hit them and slid across 20' of dirt and off a cliff. Managed to catch a tree branch on the way down . Aside from a scrapped up hip I was'nt injured. A minute or so later a good samaritan looked over the edge and helped me get my skis up . Happened before helmets were in vouge.

I just wonder if the "WROD" has a bad reputation aside from my experience . Are alot of people taking it easy and keeping there heads on a swivel not skiing as agressive . I doubt there are many newbs out on rentals this early so I'm assuming most people have a fair ammount of hours under their belts. Have'nt seen any early season accident reports over the years.
just curious?
