There was word that Highlands might reopen again...I think the lifts are still standing...always wanted to try that place as well...

I skied this in March 1999, one of, if not the last, season it was open. Too bad too...nice terrain over there and an 'outback' kind of feel. Now one would have to dodge snowmobiles if they tried to ski/ride there :roll:
The Northeast Passage was the area of the mountain that Killington first permitted snowboarders...
