though apparently k has guns going on the upper mtn and are putting the cabins on the k1. dammit make an announcement already. what's with the cloak & dagger stuff.

Their concern still is being able to get the lower sections of Great Northern set. It's still too warm to blow snow at the lower elevations. They're cat-packin' snow around to get everything covered up.

Its official, killington is not going to open.

Unfortunately folks if thing dont get cold soon and Killington can blow some snow down low they WILL NOT be open this weekend...Just confirmed today Wildcat ski area in NH will open tomorrow with a 40" base...congrads to wildcat..and Killington is hoping to get things rolling by this weekend...but if it is still too humid in the air they will not be able to blow snow down low and killington will not open this weekend....they are talking temps of 50 degrees here this weekend and it doesent look promising...sorry for the bad news...
