I'm not sure you've got the right person who was scampering away from the bears. While working my Ambassador shift down by the cow, I randomly started a conversation with a guy named Bode (from NH), who told me about the bears; his retreat to his car; and his ultimate 1st chair (verified by Sugarbush's video). Could he have given himself this nickname?

skinutz603 is the second one from the left holding the banner with the GoPro on his helmet. His brother is next him with the orange hat and actually knows how to ski and use his poles. IMG_4431.jpeg

Skiing recklessly on overcrowded trails and posting videos of it online. Most of his videos he looks to be out of control
He is. This is the asshole that came within a couple of inches of sending me to the hospital last year on Murphys. I was stopped and visible- he came at me at full speed to hit a whale, and double ejected on the flat landing, claiming "that was awesome" afterwards.
I brought this up to Chad B @ ski patrol and he claims to have "had a conversation" with him about being safe on the mountain, but no consequences because Evan was just making jokes about it on social media the next day.
He really is a problem.

So back to snow-making, interesting that the report indicates they're still working on a lot of the summit trails at ME including Rim Run and Lower Rim Run. If they're still working on those trails now, that throws a bit more doubt on the plausibility of the previous rumors that ME could have been the early option if LP wasn't ready. Granted those trails could have had "enough" snow prior to this and they just want to build more depth now.

Opening Ellen was never an option. It‘s fascinating that rumor received so much credence. But that’s why I love this forum. The upper mountain system is in its 2nd season so snowmaking over there will be different than in years past. They can now finish those trails, move lower and never go back. What wasn’t mentioned was that they are making base on FIS. Now that’s a blast from the past.

Didn't they make snow on FIS last year? I thought I recall some whales. I could probably look back through my photos, but not quite that important lol.
