Now guys, I think we should lighten up. I’d be excited. I mean they got me stoked when I heard the words “2-year culvert project.” 😂

In all seriousness I have no idea if that was a major need. Maybe it was.

As for the crotch, with a planned opening on 12/13, and with the low refresh rate for the pond from the drought and recent cold weather, makes a lot more sense to wait for optimal temps to make the most of the available H2O. Sounds like good judgement. If you can't wait in the area, Sunapee will be open on Friday.

Meanwhile in Southern New Hampshire......

Pats has probably pound for pound the best snowmaking system in the country. Obviously not as large as Killington, but for their size you would be hard pressed to find a better system.

The water problem is also very real in the Northeast right now. See Burke as just another example. Refill rates are going to be an issue, and notably if the long term forecast come to fruition, those refill rates are only going to get worse.

Reading it, maybe they just mean the idea is coming from what Wildcat did and not that Wildcat's mug club itself is actually moving. The wording is a bit vague.
Yup, I read it as they are bringing the mug club concept to Attitash as well as keeping the existing mug club program at Wildcat. Definitely could of been worded in a clearer way for sure

Yeah, I mean it is another awesome addition for all of the amazing stuff that is going on at Attitash, right? ;) They are setting the White Mountains on fire with all that open terrain at last check. ;)

The charity auctions for Wildcat mugs last year were in the $400's (money beyond cost of mug went to the Epic employee education charity), so it makes alot of sense to replicate at Attitash. I was actually surprised to hear that that Attitash did not have a mug club already.

Attitash doesn't have much at all left.... The place is a ghost town compared to its ol glory days...
Very sad But we have all moved on....
We tried to rescue The Cat but Vail just wants to let it die out slowly...

On the flip side Black has been off to a great start and BW is now 7 days/week.

Started Skiing at the Cat in 1968....
May never go back there now.....

The Attitash trail map on their website is dated October 31, 2023 😂

Attitash needs a lot of work to improve the guest experience.

Well that's terrible news...

Sounds like she had a profound affect on Child Care at least at Heavenly, so for all of Vail's fails its nice to hear about this.
