I think it's very noticeable here how practically nobody has any PCMR stickers on their car or license plate covers or wears PCMR gear (hats, shirts, etc...). Considering you're literally in Park City, you see almost no "Park City" merch, presumably because of how much Vail's hated.

BITD, I can say it was definitely not like that at Stowe, everybody had Stowe stickers on their car and stuff like that, Stowe clothes, yada, yada, yada. Wondering if Stowe is still all full of pride for their own local hill, or if similarly does nobody from Stowe do that since Vail?
Not sure, but I do have a shirt with the Vail
Logo… but it says Vail Sucks… so… carry on

I’ve found it to be an east vs west thing IMO. Sort of how like lodges carry a distinctly different vibe (if they exist at all) at the majors out West as compared to East. It’s also something only tourists do. You don’t see locals wearing Black Dog sweatshirts on MV either.

Reminds me of when NFL bust Brian Bosworth sold “Ban the Boz” shirts to Broncos fans

There is a way to protest - with your money. I understand if the resort(s) are near your property and you have less of a choice- that would be frustrating, but eventually bad businesses run out of customers and money. I don't see that happening quickly tho. How long did ASC take ( last public ski company) and for all its faults, it made major improvements in most of its properties - aaahhh the 90's!

great T shirt.

They were serving coffee at a temp that most customers who weren't total idiots wanted, which was to be warm when they got to their destination.

The grandma sued McD's after she balanced a cup of coffee on her knee in a running car and naturally it spilled. Completely idiotic behavior but in the good ol USA things can never be your fault so here we are.

Incorrect. 100%

The car was parked. She tried to take the lid off to add creamer and sugar. The car was not moving.

While taking off the lid, the stuck lid spilled the coffee. She had 3rd degree burns to 6% of her body - as in burns all through the skin - including her pubic region, and total burns to 16% of her body. She was permanently disfigured and disabled.

“bUt PeOpLe WaNt It ThAt Hot“ was their defense. It was cockamamie claim as McDonalds (and other restaraunts) had previous issues and were on notice from prior litigation of the issue. And yet the refused to do anything.

That’s why the punitive jury award was so great. McDonalds deserved that lawsuit.

Last day for the cabriolet at pc...

This really makes me sad. Completely unnecessary.

I think I'm going to change the tee-shirt from "VAIL SUCKS", to "VAIL RUINS EVERYTHING".

There are so many lifts at PCMR that desperately need replacing with an average age of 25 years & frequent stoppages, that this is almost the last place several million needed to be spent. Not to mention it actually runs. And it was a beloved & unique lift considered part of the PC experience.
