OHHHHHHHH yeah, I remember that! Everybody kept asking if you were in a bar fight! I couldn't believe you skied after that either.

Eh, it was just a flesh wound... Besides, what was I going to do, sit in the lodge while the rest of the crew went skiing?? A little gauze to stop the bleeding and a little snow to take down the swelling and I was good to go. That power outage that stranded us at the bottom of a lift couldn't have been timed any better... ;) The ski patroller actually asked me several times if I needed a sled ride down!

You guys should see the size of the bruise on my ass and hip from my fall at the perilous Ski Sundown last week. I can post a pic if you want... ;)

Still sore and swollen.

Yeah, and when your wife finds out you're bearing ass to women on the internet you'll be posting patchy face pics too

Yeah, Marc, I think the worst part is the eye burn right now- can't make any facial expressions so I've just been wandering around the office with what my boss calls "look of doom".

LOL, love the "look of doom." :D

The only battle scars I have are from my son kicking me while nursing. Bruises all over my belly and leg. I still don't know how I escaped the recent fall without a single bruise if the kicks of a 9 month old can cause so much damage.

In any case, Marge, that pic should be your new avi! :D

Slightly off topic, but there was a guy at Killington on sat. dressed in a full body gorilla suite. It was a riot. I saw him way out in front of me and I took off down Great Eastern in a full on tuck to catch up and pass him. I wanted to get far enough in front of him so I would have time to get out my camera and get him on video. Keep in mind that this guy was also wearing the Gorilla mask, with two very small eye holes so his peripheral vision couldn’t have been that great. So as I was about to pass him (in a full on tuck flying down the trail) he made a very large turn right into my path. I put on the breaks and missed the ape man by inches. For a split second I though I was going to be able to save myself. But I ended up wiping out pretty hard. Now if it was anyone else that cut me off I would have been pretty PO’d. But seeing how I was hauling a$$ down the trail it was really my fault anyway. So I picked myself up and proceeded to haul a$$ down the trail to catch up to the monkey man. I was finally able to pass the guy and put enough space between us to give me time to get out the camera and film him. I haven’t watched the video yet, but if it came out I will try to post it later

I wanted to say something incredibly witty about nearly ending up up the ape's ass but you know what? I'm just too tired. Still, quite the mental image!

I was thinking about making it my avatar, but I'm still too entertained by the dancing ST. I did make it my profile photo though :snow:

Oof. Hip bruises suck and take a long time to heal. I'm still sore from one obtained over a week ago...

Second day out this year I was cruising, went into a compression that had some ski ruts, caught an edge in a rut and blam. My right cheek was considerably larger than my left cheek and the (a beautiful purple and black I might add) bruise stopped only a few inches above my knee. Somehow my wife talked me into letting her take a picture, which is NOT being posted. No long term damage but the bruise didn't fully go away for at least a month.
