It's good that I'm not the only overweight person on here..I want to drop 15-20 pounds to get back to fighting weight...

My goal is to participate in the 2009 bump comp at Sundown so Greg, bvibert, and MrEvil will stop picking on me.

No worries. Your performance in the bump comp will undoubtedly still give us plenty of things to pick on...

So the trash talk for the 2009 event starts already. Love it, :)

Of course. Seriously, you missed an awesome time. The energy at the top of the course was as much fun as the bumps themselves........well, almost.

HS lax ended last night so no more coaching 6 days a week. Time to start training. I might not be able to turn them as good as some of you guys. But I will be in better shape. Its the only thing I can do to be competitive. ;-)_

My only personal goal at this point is to get back out on skis. MRG, Magic, and Sugarbush are on my must ski list as are the Sundown bump comps.

Getting my daughter out on skis is a definite this year. We putzed around a couple of days last year, but I hope to get her out more and that she'll be old enough to pay attention. ;)

not so much goals for next year as goals for the summer. I have a gym membership, actually i've had it for almost 2 years now. I'm gonna use it for once. Build up the my leg muscles to try to take some of the strain off my knees. i'm built like a stick figure and do absolutely nothing for excercise really. For years it was no problem but i think age is finally starting to catch up with me. Things dont just work as easily as they used to.

Other then that, my modest goals are

Get to MRG.
Sack up and enter the BMMC.

I think i've listed both of these as goals for the last 4 years. the first shouldnt be a problem, the second sounds fine now but i never have the balls to do it when the time comes.

I would be there and heavily intoxicated.

It depends on his bib number. If it's a high bib number, I'd likely have a tough time passing a field sobriety test. ;)

I hope KMart comes to their senses and puts the BMMC back into April. The 2nd weekend of April was the traditional date until they bumped it for that terrain park and half pipe event. The reason you stage events like that is to promote the resort at a time when people are considering staying home to do yard work and other horrible anti-skiing tasks. Given the poor performance of Killington marketing last season, I don't expect much from them until a lean snow year forces them to reconsider how they are now operating the resort.
